We’re not a corporate fashion lab, a polished marketing committee, or some soulless warehouse trying to guess “what’s trendy.” We’re a small crew of punks, artists, and outspoken humans who actually give a damn. We’ve lived through real chaos, real corruption, and real emotion — and we’re not interested in staying quiet ever again.

One of us is a former cop who blew the whistle on dirty officers, and then got hit with threats and retaliation from his department for refusing to stay silent. That experience didn’t break us — it defined us. We learned firsthand that silence protects the problem, not the people. That mindset sits at the core of this brand.

We built The Human Dept. for people who feel deeply, think independently, and refuse to be told to “calm down,” “sit still,” or “just accept things the way they are.”

This brand exists for the ones who don’t shut up, don’t look away, and don’t fake it to survive. 

Most of our art is made in house by our three lovely artists who have been making protest art since the Bush administration. We also run funding for charity choosing our funds to go to a cause to help those who've been beat down by the system.
